叶阿满（刘金山 饰）是一个忠厚诚实的送奶员，平日里团结同事乐于助人，深得领导与客户赏识。俗话说林子大了什么鸟都有，偏偏有人认为阿满是个大傻冒。环卫工丽丽（金梦 饰）作风轻浮，遭人骗未婚先孕，后因做生意失败深感生活无望。阿满为挽救丽丽不惜变卖家产，以帮她偿还贷款，丽丽深受感动。人非草木，孰能无情，丽丽最终投向阿满怀抱。钟科长（韩童生 饰）看似衣冠楚楚，实则包藏祸心，他不仅乱搞男女关系，还巧设名目贪污公款，最终下场可想而知，钟妻杜兰（张凯丽 饰）钦佩阿满的人品，但严酷的现实令她绝望......
